Our commitment

GemDiagram is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We believe accessible design benefits everyone.

Conformance status

GemDiagram.com partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conforms" means some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

The following are audited against, and conform to, WCAG 2.2 Level AA:

  • Marketing pages (features, pricing, comparisons)
  • Documentation and guides
  • Account and authentication pages

These pages are regularly audited and tested to meet accessibility standards.

Known limitations

The GemDiagram design application (the WebGL-based 3D gem design tool at /developer/) is exempted from this conformance claim. It is a specialized graphics tool that relies on a canvas-rendered, mouse/touch-driven 3D viewport for its core faceting workflow, a mode of interaction that is not text- or DOM-based and cannot currently be made screen-reader- or keyboard-equivalent without compromising the precision the tool exists to provide. We continue to look for ways to narrow this gap.

Users who need assistance or an alternative way to accomplish a task in the design application are encouraged to contact our support team for accommodation — see Feedback and support below.

This site has been tested with automated tooling (pa11y, WCAG2AA ruleset) and manual keyboard/zoom/reflow checks. A live screen-reader pass (VoiceOver) is still pending as a follow-up verification step.
